We had our first night out last night as an engaged couple! We went to see Mastodon and Dethklok, and it was awesome. Trey went with us, and it was awesome to hang out with him too. I wish I had my ring back, but maybe by tomorrow. I'd like to have it back before we go look at the Mountain place tomorrow, but I know it's really not a big deal.
But it's awesome:
And I miss it :)
Today we go paper shopping! Mike's going to screenprint our paper items for the wedding, which I think will be super rad, and unique. So we're going to go checkout/price what the paper's going to run. I'm sure it'll save us TONS, cuz I know there's a premium on these sorts of things. And don't get me wrong, the pros do a great job, but with as artist as my Hunny is, I think we'll be able to do something equally as rad.
Banana spent the night with Mom last night, and I think she's staying with her friend Rachel tonight. It's so quiet without my favorite fruity around. I still hope we get to go out for our Friday Night Mexis though.
AND she was super bummed about not going to the show last night, BUT - we're going to take her to see MC Chris next Thursday. I think that will make up for it. I hope. She's a good girl, and I LOVE that we all have common musical interests and such. It's so much more awesome than if she liked country music, or the Disney-branded faux bands. That'd be super hard to swallow.
I'm so torn about what to do with our hair too. We both got really bad 'trims' last weekend at Great Clips. I totally had more faith in them to do a better job than they did. I should've just done it for us... it'd have been a better outcome, i'm sure. SO, i'm going to make appointments for us to get REAL haircuts in a couple of weeks from Kim Stacy. She's out in Alpharetta, and since Creepy moved, we need to find someone new to go to. Then, we both need color updates, and Hann wants to go blonder, but I don't feel I could get it the color she wants at this point without bleach. And I don't want to KILL her hair so she doesn't have to be in the position to cut it all off. No one likes to be forced to chop their hair. Then, i'm having the same dilemma with my own. I've been trying to gradually go lighter, with bleach, knowing full well i'm totally destroying my hair, but since we both have stuff to look forward to in the next year that we should have AWESOME hair for, i'm contemplating just getting the color done professionally. Which will cost us like $300, that we don't really have right now to throw around.
OOOOOH the decisions to make! I'm sure it'll all figure itself out.
