We're getting ready to head off to our first venue visit! It's about 1.5 hours north of here in the mountains. I went up a few years back for Melissa and Russ's wedding, and remember thinking the drive up was GORGEOUS. I can't wait to get back up there! I bet the leaves changing colors right now are beautiful.
Slight drama on the parental front, but I'm beginning to think it's why they're here, right? I wish I could afford to just pay it all myself so that any unsolicited advice or suggestions could be ignored, but it's not the case. I told Mike today it's still not too late to elope, and he reminded me there are 35 weeks left.
I still don't have my ring back, I've got my fingers x'd that they'll call today. We'll likely not be back by 4p to pick it up, so I think I'm still ringless until Tuesday. Oh well. I have the remainder of the rest of my life to wear it. So this naked finger won't be so much longer!!
