ENGAGED!

I figure since i started this blog thing, I should probably use it. And this being the "official" very beginning to our life together, despite the almost 2 years leading us up to this point, I should do something to document it. I know what people always say about being engaged/wedding: "Cherish it, because you'll blink and it'll be over." I think this should be my little way of being able to remember and not lose the tiniest little nugget of this experience.

So at this point, we're ENGAGED! YAY!

Thursday night, Mike met me outside when I pulled in from work. He does this often, so I didn't think anything of it until I noticed he was carrying roses! When I asked why I got roses, he dropped down on one knee and asked if I'd be his wife! OF COURSE!

He gave me absolutely the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. If I can figure out how to, I'll post my pictures. I was totally shocked but have known for some time that Mike's the only guy for me, forever.

We're starting the preliminary plans for the ceremony and WOW there are tons of details!
